LARGE NAVAL TYPE DIRK. Double-edged blade, 10-13/16″ long x 1-1/4″w at ricasso x 3/16″ thick at ricasso with a flat oval iron hand guard and round wooden handle with tapered iron ferrules and a riveted butt cap. One ricasso is marked with intertwined double “CC” and the other stamped “PATAPPL’D” for. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains most of its orig. finish with some scattered light surface pitting. Appears not to have been sharpened. Handle is fine, slightly shrunken, otherwise intact. 4-45083 JL184 (100-300)
