SHARPS NEW MODEL 63 SADDLE RING CARBINE. CAL. 52. Standard carbine with 22″ round bbl, German silver front sight with Sharps carbine ladder rear sight missing the slide and screw. The left side of the receiver and wrist with sling bar and ring with EAW inspector mark. The left side of the buttstock with a ribbon cartouche. SN 91447 CONDITION: Good. All the metal retains a medium-gray patina with traces of silvered case colors on the receiver and lock plate. The wood is sound with traces of orig. finish in sheltered areas, mostly a smooth hand-rubbed patina with a gouge in the comb and a slight hairline on the back on the tang. Replaced rear tang screw. Strong bore with scattered pitting. 4-45292 JL256 (1,800-2,500)
