SPRINGFIELD ARMS LOADING GATE SPUR TRIGGER REVOLVER. CAL. 30RF. Brass frame spur trigger revolver with 3-1/8″ ovoid shaped bbl with German silver blade front sight, unfluted cylinder and 2-pc rosewood grips. The right side of the frame has a recess for loading the cylinder with a swing out loading gate secured with a tiny catch. There is the name “GEO. F. BARRETT” and the date “OCT. 15” scratched on the butt. SN 3405 CONDITION: Fair, the iron retains a silver gray patina with light dings on the cylinder. The frame has traces of silver in the very sheltered areas and the grips are both cracked on the bottom. The cylinder pin may be a replacement. 4-45492 JL308 (500-1,000)
