REMINGTON MODEL 1865 SINGLE SHOT PISTOL WITH EXPERIMENTAL BRASS TRIGGER GUARD. CAL: .50RM. 8-1/2” round bbl with anchor proof mark. The entire pistol has been refinished and the action converted to the New York type. SN 1882 CONDITION: Blue-brown patina mixed with reblue on metal surfaces. The trigger guard is loose. The inspector cartouche is visible but not readable. The bore is pitted, action fires when the hammer is returned to battery. 4-45038 FS37 (1,200-1,600)
