SECOND MODEL LeMAT REVOLVER. CAL: .36/16ga. 6-7/8” oct. bbl marked “Systeme Le Mat Bte S.G.D.G. Paris” on top of bbl inside an engraved border. This revolver has British proof marks in addition to the star/”L.M” mark on the bbl. The front end of the loading assembly is probably replaced. SN 2145 CONDITION: 50% thinning blue on the oct. bbl, traces in protected pales on the frame, trigger guard and shotgun bbl. The cylinder appears to have traces of blue under a chemical toning. The grips are worn on the high spots. The bores are dark, mechanically good. 4-45029 FS49 (10,000-15,000)
