BELGIAN FLINTLOCK MILITARY MUSKET. CAL. about 60. Fine flintlock musket with 37-1/4″ oct. to round bbl, iron mounted with three bands, front sight/bayonet lug, tulip head ramrod with sling loops at the end of the trigger guard and through the forestock. Most of the exposed parts are numbered 81. CONDITION: Very good. The bbl retains a very dark heavy patina. The lock plate is light under a coating of old dried oil. The stock has a replaced large splinter of wood by the top tang. Otherwise is sound and retains most of an old, old refinish. Good mechanics, weak hammer spring. 4-45724 JL347 (600-1,000)
