CONVERTED FRENCH MARTIAL PISTOL. CAL: 69. 4-7/8” part oct. bbl. Made at St. Etienne, and typical of French military pistols, has numerous marks. The upper left flap of the bbl is marked “C de 17-6A” along with several proof marks. “MONTIGNY” is stamped on the left flap of the stock. SN 322 CONDITION: Smooth gray patina mixed with scattered light surface rust and pitting. The brass fittings have a mellow yellow color. The stock is fine. The bore is lightly pitted, lock is fine. 4-45311 FS48 (500-800)
