JOHNSON MODEL 1836 CONVERSION PISTOL WITH INSCRIPTION. CAL: 54. 8-1/2” round bbl, inscribed “C.A. Wilhelm” on the back strap. The gunsmith conversion is stamped “W” on the end of the drum. The replaced loading assembly appears to be the same period as the conversion. NSN CONDITION: Gray metal with light pitting overall, heavier at the breech. The stock shows several repairs and has a large chunk of wood missing above the lock. The lock is fine. Bore is dark. 4-45036 X21 (800-1,200)
