GROUP OF ASSORTED CARVINGS AND TWO SILK EMBROIDERIES. Late 19th/early 20th century, China. Group of assorted carvings made from both horn and wood, to include three Buddhist and Taoist deities and a dragon. Together with two silk embroideries, one with a bird and flower motif, the other a fishing scene. SIZE: Largest carving: 7-1/4” t. Largest embroidery: 16-1/2” t x 9-3/4” w. PROVENANCE: The estate collection of Seta Chengrian. CONDITION: Carvings have some cracks and chips. Embroideries are slightly faded. Otherwise all are good. 9-91643 (400-600)
