TWO SHAKUMI MASKS. Late 19th/early 20th century, Japan. Carved and painted wood, one with inlaid glass eyes, the other a mask of a court woman. SIZE: Each approx. 9″ l. PROVENANCE: From a private New York State collection. CONDITION: Mask with glass eyes has a large chip to back and some paint flecks. The other one is fine. 9-92612 (300-500)
