CARVED ROSEWOOD MARBLE TOP PLANT STAND.19th century, China. Circular rose colored breschia marble top within a conforming surround with gadrooned edge above the foliate carved pierced frieze joined to the central shaft carved with entwined dragons raised on a tripod cabriole leg base headed by fanciful masks terminating in bold claw feet. Note: Removable top is joined to standard by wood wedges. SIZE: 30-1/2″ h x 24-1/2″ dia. CONDITION: Retains original surfaces with dark patina. Structurally sound.
