China. 1) In the manner of Guan Shanyue, ink and color on paper, depicting prunus branches, inscribed, signed, with two seals; the reverse with calligraphic writing, dated “wuwu year,” signed “Yanshao,” with one seal. 2) In the manner of Qi Baishi, ink and color on paper, depicting chicken group and a grasshopper, inscribed, dedicated to Mr. Huafo, signed “Baishi laoren,” with one seal; the reverse with calligraphic writing, dated “wuzi year,” signed “Wuxing,” with one seal.
