China, late 19th century. 1) After Lang Shining (Giuseppe Castiglione), ink and colors on paper, depicting horses in various attitudes in a landscape, inscribed, signed “Lang Shining, “ with six seals. 2) Hanging scroll, in the manner of Shanghai School painter Cheng Zhang, ink and colors on paper, finely depicting a tiger, dated gengshen year, signed “Cheng Zhang,” with two seals. SIZE: 1) 51″ x 24-3/4″. 2) 50-1/2″ x 24-3/4″. CONDITION: Surface grime, stains. 9-94422-3 (500-700) – Lot 4078
