Hardback, published in 1865, contains 472 pages of letters from a variety of soldiers from most of the major battlefields, forts and camps throughout the Civil War. The front cover is decorative with impressed patterns and the back is impressed with different patterns and “SOLDIERS LETTERS”. CONDITION: The binding is fair with detached front cover held in place with black electrical tape which also binds the edges and is probably from another book. Back cover shows heavy edge wear, spine is loose, the page edges are yellow but otherwise are crisp and clean. 4-45224 Z395 (100-200)
