OLD BUFFALO HIDE AND TONGUE SCALE. Of brass and iron construction with a 3-3/4″ oval iron frame having a ring off the top and side and a hide hook off the bottom and tongue hook off the side. The scale graduations are marked on a half-moon shaped brass insert screwed inside the frame. CONDITION: Rusty and heavily pitted. The iron surfaces with the brass a dark brown patina, all legends are visible. 4-45179 JL278 (50-150)
