FINE RORSTRAND PORCELAIN PEDESTAL. Last quarter 19th century, Rorstrand Factory, Sweden (established 1726). This fine pedestal in the form of a modified ionic capital decorated overall with holly vinery, acanthus leaves and floral swags on a square base cast with fanciful busts set in recessed panels, the square base with acanthus leaves, the whole in muted shades of brown, blue and green on a taupe ground. NOTE: Pedestal with 1884 Rorstrand mark. SIZE: 47″ h. CONDITION: With rubbing to gilding and light craquelure in enamel. Otherwise good. 9-90153 (750-1,250)
