TWO SMALL CARRIAGE CLOCKS. The first is a sterling silver case carriage or boudoir clock marked on back of 30-hour time only movement “Paris E.G.L.” sterling silver ball-footed case marked with London Sterling Silver touchmarks maker “W.C.” (W. Commyns & Sons), dated 1896, with presentation inscribed on back of case “Essex County Club Handicap / August 26, 1807 / Best Gross Score”. The second being a gold washed brass case beveled glass French carriage clock with 8-day time, strike and hour repeating movement having elaborate engine decorated face with Roman Numerals. Beveled glass on all four sides and top. SIZE: 4-1/4″ h and 5-3/8″ h respectively. CONDITION: Both are very good. 9-90535 (800-1,200)
