VERY FINELY CARVED LATE FEDERAL MAHOGANY SOFA. Finely carved sofa with elaborately detailed spiral acanthus carved posts. The crestrail with acanthus carving centered with pineapple carved elements and large bulbous leaf carved feet. Now with contemporary silk dragonfly upholstery. SIZE: 75″ l x 30-1/2″ d x 35″ h. PROVENANCE: From a fine Kentucky Estate. CONDITION: Very good, right end panel having re-glue from shrinkage damage. Good original finish. 9-92250 (1,000-2,000)
