RARE CAST IRON DOORSTOP “TIGER” HUBLEY.Circa 1920. Hubley Foundry, Lancaster, PA. Stylized figure of a Ringmaster in a top hat with feather. Designed by English Illustrator Anne Fish for Hubley, hollow cast half round form, marked “269” on back. REFERENCE: “The Doorstop Book” by John and Nancy Smith pg 212. NOTE: Rarest of the seven doorstops designed by Anne Fish. SIZE: 9 1/4″ H, 4″ W, 1 1/4″ D CONDITION: Original paint with nice patina, paint losses, discoloration and oxidation.
