RARE ANTIQUE R.S. PRUSSIA COVERED CHOCOLATE POT DECORATED WITH TIGERS. Marked on base with red and green, “R.S. Prussia” mark circa 1880-1910. The lidded pot decorated with a standing tiger and a prone tiger with a pink setting sun sky and lush green jungle scene. The pot’s pouring rim having a collared spout (ice lip) to strain with. REFERENCE: P. 302, Plates 682 and 683, for same decoration (R.S. Prussia popular lines by Mary Frank Gaston). A rare and possibly unique pot. SIZE: 10″ h. CONDITION: Under blacklight the cover shows minor old restoration, pot is very good. 9-92150 (2,500-4,500)
