Early to mid 20th century, Continental, finely constructed in a bombe form with allover parquetry inset panels. Fitted with a French time & strike clock with porcelain dial above a section with two shelves and two long serpentine drawers having two secret doors disguised with early 19th century leather book bindings. The writing surface inset with tooled leather panel. All above one long and four short serpentine front drawers. Desk with ormolu-mounted corners and cabriole legs terminating in ormolu feet.
