The rectangular and padded back joined to ogival wings continuing to outscrolled overupholstered arms centering a trapezoidal seat fitted with a removable cushion raised on square molded and chamfered frontal legs, the rear legs backswept, all joined by a recessed box stretcher. Accompanied by a 20th century Georgian style ottoman. The chair and ottoman upholstered in a cherry red leather upholstery. SIZE: Chair back: 45″ h. Seat: approx 17″ h. Overall chair width: 35″ w. Ottoman: 17″ h x 27″ l x 23″ w. PROVENANCE: From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. CONDITION: The chair frame professionally restored and tightened with evidence of old repaired stress crack proper right leg facing at seat rail. The ottoman in original condition.
