Featuring 18th/19th Century articles including three small beaded purses, a leather sewing kit, a leather cased needle holder, a fine Woodland Indian beaded needle case, an elaborate embroidered butterfly needle case, a pin cushion, a cross stitch pin cushion, silver and gold filled thimbles, two pairs of ladies shows, one having an old tag “These shoes belonged to Betty Marble who was born in Salem in 1758. She once walked from there to Boston (14 miles) and back to witness the hanging of two pirates”. CONDITION: Very good. 7-70581 (800-1,200)
