ROUND COPPER PLAQUE “PRINS WILLEM DEZWYGER”. Second half 19th century, Dutch. William I, Prince of Orange (24 April 1533–10 July 1584), also widely known as William the Silent. The plaque molded with the half figure of Prince William in period dress within a molded surround of satyrs and putti with musical instruments, and reclining semi nude women amongst battle trophies and birds of prey. SIZE: 26″ dia. CONDITION: Generally very good with old patina. 7-70401 (300-500)
