RARE LOUIS VUITTON AUTOMOBILE TRUNK.

First quarter 20th century, France. Lightweight lift lid trunk with black leather exterior having canted back for use on an early automobile. Retaining its original brass hardware and leather handle with a lock plate having “LV” escutcheon and marked “PARIS LOUIS VUITTON LONDON”. The interior lined with white silk having a Louis Vuitton label and stamped with SN “189716”. The base with cloth straps & buckles marked with Louis Vuitton Brevet. SIZE: 11″ h x 32″ w x 16″ d.
