ROBINSON, OHIO BLUE DECORATED STONEWARE WATER COOLER WITH FILTRATION TOP.

Late 19th/ early 20th century fine embossed stoneware water cooler with stoneware filtration unit above. Water cooler base with well and cabin scene in a cameo panel flanked with corn stalks on front and with embossed cobalt flower spray decoration on reverse. Filtration crock fitted with porous stone filtration panel and decorated with embossed and cobalt scenic panels of elves framed with scrolling leaf motif and banded with mountain scenes and a sign “to Wellville” retaining original spigot and cover with sunflower finial. Marked on base “Robinson Clay Product Co. Akron OH.” SIZE: Base 15 1/2″ H. Overall 25 3/4″ H CONDITION: The base in very good condition. The lid with small 1/2″ chip and 1 1/2″ re-glued chip.
