RARE RABBIT WITH TOP HAT DOORSTOP. Circa 1920, National Foundry, Whitman, Massachusetts. This fine cast-iron example with incised “89” mark on back, the rabbit depicted standing on a grassy knoll. Reference: The Doorstop Book, John and Nancy Smith, page 156. SIZE: 9-3/4″ h. CONDITION: Retains original painted surfaces with minimal in-use wear. Very fine overall. 9-91527 (1,000-1,500)
