TIGER MAPLE CANNONBALL BED.Early 19th century, New England, all over heavily figured tiger maple, the paneled headboard with rolling pin top and cannonball ends having four similar in-turned cannonball top, urn and ring turn posts, terminating in turned and tapered legs. SIZE: 51-1/2″ h x 56″ w. PROVENANCE: From a fine Castine, Maine home. CONDITION: Very good with fine old refinish. Additional tiger maple bolt covers created at the time of refinish.
