SHERATON TIGER MAPLE DRESSING TABLE.

Circa 1840, New England. The rectangular table fitted with a glove box above having a rectangular splash guard and two aligned short drawers stepped back on the table with single long drawer and cockbeaded edges raised on swelled cylindrical ring- and bobbin-turned legs terminating in ball feet. SIZE: 40″ h x 34″ w x 20″ d. PROVENANCE: From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. CONDITION: Surfaces cleaned and repolished with rich medium brown honey color with period Sheraton style brass knobs. Good overall. 9-93422 (700-900) – Lot 2607
