BRITSH SETTLEMENT CAPE OF GOOD HOPE SEIZED SHIP DOCUMENT. John Holland, Judge and Commissionary of the Court of the Vice Admiralty of the settlement, the ship Neustra Senora Del Carmen, seized on December 20, 1799, “Was Master with Her Tackle, Apparel, and Furniture, and all and all singular the Goods, Wares and Merchandise laden therein and herewith taken and seized by His Majesty’s Ship of War – Tremendous John Osborn Esquire….” Sealed, signed and dated Fourteenth of May, 1800. Two pages bound having British Royal watermark. SIZE: Each page: 12 1/2″ x 7 3/4″ CONDITION: Seal stain, otherwise very good. 9-90955 (300-500)
