FINE ROCOCO FLORENTINE MIRROR. First half 19th century, Continental. The Florentine style example with deep foliate and floral carving throughout accentuated by exuberant scrolling leaf tips. The basket weave reticulated crest above the shield form mirror plate all above a pendant apron carved with C-scroll leaf tips. SIZE: 39″ h x 24″ w. CONDITION: Original gilt surfaces with old repairs to leaf tips. Some losses to flower petals and leaf tips. Otherwise good. Mirror retains original mirror plate and backboards. 9-90182 (800-1,200)
