BAKHTIARI CARPET. Third quarter 20th century, Central Persia. The vibrant carpet with rows of conifers each in a small arabesque medallion flanked within by songbirds, alternating with rows of flower heads, the medallions alternating in ivory, wine red and deep indigo, with a large main border of similarly alternating medallions in polychrome colors within multiple floral guard borders. SIZE: 10’1″ x 13’8″. CONDITION: Carpet retains nearly full pile with strong and vibrant palette. Overall very good. 9-92939 (2,000-2,500)
