This carved and molded example headed by a whimsical bust of William Shakespeare, the holder with star punch and incised line decoration and drilled with six holes for the storing of quill pens. With varnished surfaces. SIZE: 6″ h. PROVENANCE: From a fine Kentucky Estate. CONDITION: Very good and original, with evidence of old insect activity, now dormant. 9-92298 (800-1,200)
