FINE PAIR OF REGENCY MAHOGANY MARQUETRY PEDESTALS. First quarter 19th century, England. Each with rectangular top continuing to molded, stepped and concave upper shaft continuing to a rectangular pedestal with tapering sides, each side with a fine marquetry panel of a classical urn or sconce framed within a ribbon-tied border of vinery with berries, the incurved molded base on a rectangular molded plinth. SIZE: 38-1/2″ h x 15″ l x 10-3/4″ w. CONDITION: Pedestals retain original polished surfaces with minimal and minor veneer losses. One top with old repaired shrinkage crack.
