SET OF SIX 19TH CENTURY CARVED OAK WILLIAM & MARY STYLE HIGH BACK CHAIRS. Well crafted in the manner of period William & Mary furniture, having square peg construction and chamfered oak seat bottoms. Back rail and front stretcher hand carved with scroll elements, and having split spindle and full spindle applied decoration. SIZE: 47-1/2 T – 17-1/4″ to seat rail. CONDITION: Minor drying splits due to shrinkage, missing one turned finial, small loss to back of one chair finial. 9-92059 (3,000-5,000)
