Late 19th century, John F. Gaul, Wm. Adams & Co., Philadelphia, and so marked. The triple back example cast with the name John F. Gaul on the back and with foundry mark decorated with scrolling vinery and quatrefoil design in old white paint. SIZE: 39-1/2″ h x 46″ l x 17-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. CONDITION: Structurally good. Some loss to seat apron rear of proper right side. Otherwise good. 9-93423 (800-1,200) – Lot 2540
