RARE SNOWY OWL DOORSTOP. Circa 1920, Bradley & Hubbard Foundry, West Meriden, Connecticut. This fine cast-iron example depicting the owl standing on a plinth. With illegible markings within proper right back side, possibly “7797”. SIZE: 15-3/4″ h. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Cast with nice detail. Retains original paint. Showing minor surface wear and oxidation. 9-91526 (2,000-3,000)
