NEW YORK INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE.

Late 18th, early 19th century, crafted in fine quality mahogany, featuring “D” ends and oval leaves with concave and bead molded edge, having conforming drawer in one end and simulated drawer in other. Mounted on four tapering legs featuring linenfold and husk pattern inlays with string inlay and ebony and satin wood banding near base. For similar table, attributed to John Dikeman, see page 349, of “American Furniture the Federal Period 1788-1825” by Charles F. Montgomery, reference #326. SIZE: 28″ h x 35″ w x 20-1/2″ d.
