CHROME YELLOW PAINTED FIELD BASKET. Second quarter 19th century, New England. The tightly woven basket with double square nailed rim fitted with notched and carved handles, the tapering body with double pine bottom. All in chrome yellow paint over original gray. SIZE: 13″ t x 18-3/4″ dia. CONDITION: No breaks or losses, minor shrinkage cracks to bottom boards. Very good untouched condition. 9-92084 (800-1,200)
