FINE SHERATON BOW FRONT CHEST. Early 19th Century. Sheraton mahogany four drawer chest having cookie corners, reeded columns, ring turned and reeded tapering feet. Drawers having three crotch veneer panels surrounded by satin wood and ebony string inlay, banded by mahogany with beaded edge. Has period but not original oval grape pattern brasses. Probably Southern New England. SIZE: 43-1/2″ w x 41-1/4″ t x 22″ d. CONDITION: No apparent restoration, very good old refinish. 9-92016 (4,500-6,500)
