FABULOUS PAINT DECORATED LADY’S BOX. The outside with original paint decoration having a black ground with gold line edges. The lid painted with a large basket of fruit, the sides with baskets of fruit and the front with intertwined cornucopias of fruit with red roses. Pine, circa 1820. The interior with small till and marbled paper lining. SIZE: 4-3/4″ h x 13-1/4″ w x 7-3/4″ d. CONDITION: The painted areas are generally good with minor losses, the black background having some chipping & loss, one old split on right top of lid. 9-92860 (500-1,000)
