WINDSOR PAINT DECORATED ROD-BACK SETTEE. First quarter 19th century, New England. The stepped crest rail joined to cylindrical arms all on rod spindles centering a wide plank seat raised on splayed cylindrical tapering legs joined by a box stretcher. The whole with mustard and iron red simulated graining and cross banding. SIZE: Back: 35-1/2″ h x 87″ l. CONDITION: Original surfaces with normal and expected wear and abrasions.
