Canada, early 19th century. Chair back mortised into tapering square posts outwardly curving to formed back legs. Having mortised stretchers supporting urn shaped splat. The scrolling arms, pegged and mortised in the front and back; having square front posts terminating in legs with flattened mortise stretchers around. Retaining original green paint and probably original splint seat. SIZE: 41″ h x 19 w x 20″ d. CONDITION: Very good, showing normal wear commensurate with age. 9-93467 (400-600) – Lot 2436
