CROWING ROOSTER FULL BODIED COPPER WEATHERVANE.

Late 19th century. Attributed to J.W. Fiske, New York. Reference Copper Weathervanes – 1893, pg 34. Having well detailed molded copper head, body and tail with open wings standing atop a ball atop an arrow wind vane. Molded zinc feet. Mounted on museum stand. SIZE: 25-1/2″ h x 23″ w (wingspan) 15″ l (rooster) 24-1/2″ l (arrow). CONDITION: Very good with fine uniform verdigris surface. Slight compression to body where wing attaches on right side.
