LATE FEDERAL SECRETARY WITH ORIGINAL PAINTED SURFACE.

Maine circa 1830. Constructed of white pine. In two parts, upper part having overhanging top above two door display section. The doors with two arched glasses opening to reveal salmon painted interior fitted with three drawers across the base. The lower section with flip-down writing tablet held open with two slides. The base with three banded drawers retaining original mushroom pulls flanked by rope-turned columns sitting atop four tapering turned legs. The entire case retaining its original grain panted surface. SIZE: 57″ h x 37″ w x 18″ d.
