HEPPLEWHITE CHERRY CANDLESTAND. Early 19th century, probably Connecticut. The circular top joined to a ring and urn turned pedestal raised on tripod cabriole leg base terminating in angular snake feet. SIZE: 28″ h x 19-3/4″ top dia. PROVENANCE: From a Maine estate. CONDITION: Retains original surfaces with dry crusty finish, old seam split to board on top, now stabilized. In need of cosmetic repolishing. 7-70398 (400-600)
