Wonderful oil on canvas interior scene shows a brown and white curly haired spaniel type dog lying on a red pillow. On the left side is the edge of an empire card table which has a green cloth covering it. A classical wallpaper is the backdrop and a green painted floor is under the cushion. Housed in a period ripple black frame, unsigned. SIZE: 32″ x 40″ Overall: 34″ x 42″ PROVENANCE: From a private New Jersey Collection; W. M.
