CHIPPENDALE STYLE CARVED MAHOGANY CARD TABLE. Last quarter 19th century, England. The rectangular hinged top, the edges foliate and ribbon carved on a punch carved ground opening to a baise lined gaming surface above the conforming frieze with ball and dart molded edge raised on four square chamfered molded legs, one hinged rear leg opening for top support revealing a concealed drawer within. SIZE: 29-1/4″ h x 36″ l x 17-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Upper top with repaired shrinkage crack. Baise lining absent. The table with old if not original polished surfaces, now dry. With surface soiling.
