18th century, finely forged iron adjustable stand with platform top for use for candlestick or cresset, top of circular form with scrolled elements to hold cresset in place. Having straight double shaft that slides up and down to adjust height on three scrolling legs. SIZE: Adjust from 31″ to 53″, top d 9-1/2″. PROVENANCE: From a Tiverton RI Estate.
