TWELVE DRAWER APOTHECARY CHEST WITH GRAINED PAINT.

Circa 1820, New England. Pine tabletop height apothecary chest with raised base, shallow cutout sides, mortise and tenon joinery, the top breadboard ended. Dovetailed drawers, inset chamfered bottoms, original rosewood knobs. Early yellow faintly grained surface, over original robin’s egg blue paint. SIZE: 33″ t x 17″ w x 52 l. CONDITION: Good condition. Minor secondary wood in-use old drawer repairs, top of one breadboard end appears re-painted. 9-93762 (5,000-10,000) – Lot 2386
